On a country vacation with his wife and
family, Frédéric is forced to confront his hidden
sexuality when he meets the uninhibited Hugo,
residing in an adjacent cottage. As their flirtation
intensifies, Hugo flaunts his freedom, rejecting
any notion of commitment. Frédéric argues the
case for love and devotion, despite the growing
troubles in his marriage. With beautiful,
sweeping views of
France’s Rhône region
as its backdrop, The Man
of My Life is presented
like a curious and
enchanting summer’s
dream, weaving back
and forth between the
vivid and the fleeting,
each encounter bringing
insight as it raises new
questions.

Cohabitation
gets tricky for a restless Parisian, who finds an ideal partner only
to have an old flame reappear.
